During the Meta Connect event, CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled major upgrades to the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, turning them into a more powerful smart device. These improvements include live translation, object recognition, and voice-activated memory functions. Starting at $299, the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses now offer capabilities similar to AI apps found on smartphones.

One of the standout features is the ability to remember where you parked your car or provide information on landmarks in real-time. For instance, while exploring a new city, the glasses can identify statues or buildings and share details when prompted. Even at the grocery store, the glasses can suggest dinner ideas based on what you’re looking at as you walk through the aisles. Another key addition is real-time conversation translation.

Meta also revealed a limited-edition transparent version of the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, showcasing the internal components. The design gives off a retro vibe reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2000s, bringing a nostalgic yet modern twist to the wearable tech world.
