TCL Takes on Samsung with New NXTFRAME Lifestyle TVs
TCL has announced its first lifestyle television for the North American market, the NXTFRAME TV. This new series offers a unique viewing experience that integrates customizable artwork, maintaining the picture quality TCL is known for while displaying a collection of art pieces whether the display is on or off.
In collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, TCL has also introduced the NXTFRAME Pro, which features "Audio by Bang & Olufsen." The NXTFRAME TV series is the world’s thinnest “All-In-One” TVs, with an ultra-slim design of just 1.1 inches deep (1.2 inches for the 85-inch model). The built-in chassis allows for easy installation without an external box. The TV comes with an off-white bezel and a light wood-colored magnetic frame, along with a Flush Wall Mount for a seamless look.
The NXTFRAME TV features a highly matte anti-reflective screen designed to mimic wall art and is equipped with TCL's AIPQ PRO Processor, which improves color, contrast, clarity, and motion.
It's available in sizes ranging from 55 to 85 inches and incorporates Quantum Dot (QLED) technology, HDR ULTRA with Dolby Vision IQ for improved contrast, and a High Brightness+ LED Backlight system.
The NXTFRAME TV includes Dolby Atmos, DTS, DTS Virtual, and Enhanced Dialogue Mode. The NXTFRAME Pro model comes with a wireless 3.1.2 sound bar and subwoofer, co-engineered by TCL and Bang & Olufsen, featuring the BeoSonic digital interface for customizable sound.
The TV is equipped with a 120Hz / 144Hz VRR panel refresh rate and Motion Rate 480 with MEMC for smooth motion. The Game Accelerator 240, Auto Game Mode, and AMD FreeSync Premium help with responsive gameplay with up to 240 VRR gaming capabilities.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, three HDMI inputs (one with eARC), and Wi-Fi 5. The TV supports Google TV Smart OS with hands-free voice control, Apple AirPlay 2, and is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit.
TCL also offers an optional movable floor stand for the NXTFRAME TV, featuring an easel-style design with detachable wheels for easy placement. The stand includes a storage tray, cable management, and a rear decorative cover. It will be available in September for $699.99.
The TCL NXTFRAME TV is now available in a 55-inch model priced at $1,499.99 and a 65-inch model priced at $1,999.99. The 75-inch model will be available in September for $2,499.99, and the 85-inch model for $3,999.99.
