SVS has announced the latest addition to its SoundPath line of AV accessories: the SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter. This new product is designed to cater to enthusiasts who use integrated amplifiers and legacy stereo receivers that lack line-level outputs, offering a solution for connecting powered subwoofers to these systems.
Many older audio systems don't provide a straightforward way to connect powered subwoofers, as they often lack the necessary line-level outputs. The SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adapter addresses this issue by stepping down the voltage from a speaker-level connection to RCA line-level voltage. This ensures a safe connection without sacrificing audio fidelity or drawing power from the amplifier. Users can then fine-tune the low pass filter and other subwoofer settings.
