Microsoft is set to roll out an update for Skype across all platforms, making the app ad-free. This update also improves AI image creation tools on Skype for Windows and macOS, and introduces automatic sign-in on iOS for users already logged into another Microsoft app.

With the removal of ads, users will no longer see them in the main chat interface or channels section. Additionally, the AI image creation features are being improved on Windows and macOS. Users will soon be able to access the AI image creator directly from chat windows, and AI-generated images will expand when clicked. The update also includes UI tweaks to better align the image creator with Apple's macOS design.

The update brings OneAuth integration to Skype for iOS, enabling automatic sign-in for users already signed into other Microsoft apps. This update is expected to be available in the coming days.
