Microsoft Merges Xbox & Game Pass Apps for a Smoother User Experience
Microsoft has announced plans to merge its Xbox and Xbox Game Pass apps into a single platform for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. This move aims to create a streamlined experience by integrating Game Pass features into the main Xbox app. Users will be able to access their Game Pass subscription, browse available games, view perks, and more, all in one place.
As part of this change, the Xbox Game Pass app will be removed from the App Store for iPhone and iPad users in November. Currently, the app allows users to browse and download Game Pass titles for their Xbox console or Windows PC, though games cannot be directly played on iOS devices.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service offering a rotating library of games for Xbox and PC users, and this consolidation is expected to simplify the overall user experience for gamers across platforms.
