Marantz has announced the launch of its new 10 Series Collection, which includes three high-end stereo products. The collection currently features the Model 10 Integrated Amplifier, which is available now, with the SACD 10 player and LINK 10n Network Audio Player set to be released in the near future.

According to Marantz, the 10 Series represents a significant development in their lineup, marking the first new range of reference-grade stereo components introduced by the company since 2016.

The Model 10 Integrated Amplifier is the first product from the 10 Series Collection to hit the market. Marantz describes it as the most powerful single-unit amplifier they have ever produced. This amplifier is built around a newly designed dual-mono symmetrical amplifier topology and is housed in a copper-plated, triple-layered chassis. The compartmentalized design helps to isolate the internal components, minimizing interference and maximizing performance. The Model 10 features dual-mono operation, with separate power supplies for each channel and fully balanced amplification from input to output.

The amplifier's distortion level is rated at 0.005% THD, and it delivers up to 30A of peak current, ensuring a wide dynamic range and stable performance regardless of the speaker load.

To improve the amplifier's performance, Marantz has incorporated its latest HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) analog circuitry into the preamplifier section. The Model 10 is capable of delivering 250 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers and 500 watts per channel into 4-ohm speakers. For users needing more power, additional Model 10 units can be linked using Marantz’s Floating Control Bus System (F.C.B.S.) to create a bi-amplified stereo system, with the option to connect up to four units.

The amplifier features an OLED display that can show volume levels, input selection, or act as a VU meter. The display's brightness and timeout settings can be adjusted. The unit also includes CNC-machined aluminum knobs for volume and input selection, providing a tactile user experience. The remote control is uniquely designed with a teal-colored aluminum top surface.

The Model 10 offers a wide range of connectivity options, including two XLR balanced inputs, three RCA analog inputs, and a high-quality phono stage compatible with both MM (moving magnet) and MC (moving coil) cartridges. It also includes XLR and RCA preamplifier outputs and can be configured to function solely as a power amplifier when used with the upcoming LINK 10n Network Audio Player. The Model 10 also supports A/B speaker switching and includes a high-quality headphone output.

Following the release of the Model 10, Marantz plans to introduce the SACD 10, a high-performance SACD player built to the same standards as the Model 10 amplifier. The LINK 10n Network Audio Player will also be released later on, featuring HEOS integration for streaming and multi-room audio capabilities. The LINK 10n will support playback of high-resolution audio files, including formats up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD 4X.
