Grow Your Movie Library with Kaleidescape's 96TB Terra Prime Server
Kaleidescape recently unveiled its newest Terra Prime movie server, featuring an impressive 96 TB storage capacity, its largest yet. This release is part of Kaleidescape's Ultimate 4K System, which now includes dual Terra Prime 96TB servers, each preloaded with the full library of 4K titles from the Kaleidescape store up to the shipping date.
The company also introduced a 72TB version of the Terra Prime movie server, positioning both the 96TB and 72TB versions as the successors to the former 88TB model. These Terra Prime servers are improved with a newly designed motherboard that boosts processing speed and network capabilities, facilitating faster movie downloads and improved overall system performance.
The Terra Prime line is unique in featuring a board design that allows for increased processing power and network speed, leading to quicker movie downloads and superior system performance. Terra Prime stands out as the sole dedicated movie server offering 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and utilizes enterprise-grade hard drives for reliability.
Kaleidescape's Disc-to-Digital service offers users a way to digitize their existing DVD and Blu-ray collection within the Kaleidescape ecosystem, eliminating the necessity to repurchase films at full price. The 96TB Terra Prime HDD model has the capacity to store approximately 1,600 4K titles, capable of downloading a high-bitrate 4K movie in merely eight minutes and supporting several playback zones at once.
Kaleidescape also provides Terra Prime Solid-State Drive (SSD) versions with 31TB and 8TB capacities, ideal for marine use and high-end installations that demand rapid network speeds and multiple playback zone support.
