Following the release of its premium Q-Series projectors, Epson is introducing new models aimed at the mainstream consumer market. The company has unveiled the EpiqVision Mini EF21, priced at $899, and the EF22 at $999. These new projectors feature compact, portable designs and are available in a variety of colors. Both models offer Full HD (1080P) HDR picture quality, projection sizes up to 150 inches, built-in audio, streaming capabilities, and easy setup. The EF21 and EF22 are also designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

These models come equipped with built-in streaming services like Netflix, which are ready to use right out of the box. Both projectors use 3LCD technology, delivering 1,000 lumens of color brightness (IDMS rated) and 1,000 lumens of white brightness (ISO rated). The projectors also feature a laser-based projection system that helps with brightness for HDR support.

One key feature of the EF21 and EF22 is their portability. Their compact size makes them easy to move from room to room, or even outdoors. The projectors also include EpiqSense technology, which enables automatic picture adjustments like resizing, focus, and alignment on any screen or surface. This feature simplifies the setup process, allowing users to quickly get started with their viewing experience.

Both models come with Google TV built-in, allowing users to stream content from a wide selection of apps, including Netflix. The projectors are also equipped with Dolby audio, provided through built-in 5-watt speakers. The EF21 and EF22 are similar in terms of features, with the primary difference being that the EF22 includes a 360-degree swivel base for flexible projection angles and comes in additional color options such as blue and black.

For those who want even more content options, both models include an HDMI port for connecting external streaming devices like AppleTV or even gaming consoles. Epson also offers a custom travel case, sold separately, for those who want to take their projectors on the go.

Both the EF21 and EF22 projectors, along with the custom travel case, are expected to be available in October 2024 through Amazon and select retailers.
