The latest iteration of the Apple Watch, the Series 10, has officially been introduced, marking a significant update a decade after the first model's launch. This new version features a larger display and a sleeker, thinner design than previous models, as well as improved viewing angles and a redesigned speaker system.

Apple reports that the Series 10 display is 30 percent larger than the Series 6 and slightly bigger than that of the Apple Watch Ultra. The wide-angle OLED display provides 40 percent wider viewing angles compared to its predecessor, enhancing visibility from various angles. The screen refreshes once per second, and even in ambient mode, users can see a ticking second hand.

One notable addition to the Series 10 is sleep apnea tracking, a new feature for the Apple Watch lineup.

As expected, the Series 10, along with other models starting from the Series 6 and second-gen SE, will be compatible with watchOS 11. This latest software update introduces new features, including the ability to pause and customize Rings and Activity goals. There's also a new Vitals app provides insights into overnight health metrics, training loads, and pregnancy-related data.
