Q Acoustics Continues to Innovate with New 3000c Loudspeaker Models
Q Acoustics has released its new 3000c Loudspeaker series at the start of the High End Munich audio trade show in Germany. This series marks the latest update to its most accessible and beloved line.
The 3000c series includes five new models: the 3010c bookshelf speaker, the 3020c and 3030c standmount speakers, the 3050c floor-standing speakers, and the 3090c center channel speaker.
One of the new features of the 3000c series is the adoption of the Continuous Curved Cone (C3) midrange/bass driver technology, first seen in Q Acoustics' high-end 5000 series. This technology is designed to offer improved bass response and better integration with high-frequency drivers. The flexible placement options facilitated by the C3 design also make these speakers ideal for various home settings.
The structural integrity of the 3000c speakers is reinforced by Q Acoustics’ proprietary Point to Point (P2P) bracing technology and Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer tubes, the latter of which are exclusive to the 3050c model. This will help to minimize resonance and improve the acoustic clarity across the line.
From an aesthetic standpoint, the 3000c series boasts a refined design with new metallic accents around the drivers in satin nickel and satin chrome for the white series models. The speakers are available in four finishes: the new Pin Oak and Claro Rosewood wood veneers, and the classic Satin White and Satin Black.
Set for release in August 2024, the new Q Acoustics 3000c series is competitively priced, with the 3010c bookshelf model starting at $399, the 3020c and 3030c standmounts at $499 and $649 respectively, the 3050c floorstander at $1,199, and the 3090c center channel also at $399.
Q Acoustics is also offering two 5.1 channel home theater bundles from this series, set to be available at the same time, though pricing details are current not available.
