Samsung has unveiled three new ultra-large screen sizes for its 2024 flagship MicroLED TV lineup. The new models come in 89, 101, and 114 inches, with prices starting at $110,000. These TVs showcase the latest in display technology, using microscopic light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to produce over 8 million points of light. Unlike the more commonly available mini-LED technology, microLED technology operates more like an enhanced OLED, with each pixel driven by its own microLED.

Bowers & Wilkins pays homage to its founder John Bowers with the 700 Series Signature line, a tribute that began back with the Silver Signature speaker. Acer has recently expanded its Predator series with the introduction of three new gaming monitors that all feature OLED displays and high refresh rates. The new models—Predator X27U F3, Predator X34 X5, and Predator X32 X3—are designed to improve the gaming experience by incorporating NVIDIA's G-SYNC and AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro technologies. Since I just reviewed  Trinnov's Altitude16 in combination with the Amplitude16, a stunning 16-channel power amplifier that's a wonderful complement to the  Altitude16, I decided to give the Amplitude its own review because it is truly deserving of one.

In a significant move within the telecommunications industry, T-Mobile has agreed to purchase various assets from US Cellular for approximately $4.4 billion. This transaction will grant T-Mobile ownership of all US Cellular stores, a portion of its spectrum assets, and a segment of its customer base. The deal, which includes a mix of cash and up to $2 billion in assumed debt, is expected to be completed by mid-2025, pending regulatory approval.
